Welcome to my page! I specialize in supporting those seeking help for anxiety, panic attacks, stressful transitions, traumatic stress, stress transitioning from a teen to an adult, ADHD symptoms and depression. I can also support clients with eating disorders if the client agrees to including their Doctor in their care. For youth under the age of 18 seeking treatment for an eating disorder a parent must be involved.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I consider the person in their environment and believe many things can impact mental health. This also means one's mental health can impact every area of their life making it so important for people to have the support they need. For these reasons I use a strengths-based holistic approach. I aim to take the mystery out of mental health by passing my knowledge onto my clients so they have a clear understanding of their treatment plan and learn the skills to manage their needs in collaboration with me. I tailor treatment to the individual and if interested I can offer mindfulness techniques, art, writing activities, play, games, crafts and a little humor in sessions.

I have been working in various helping profession positions for a little over 12 years such as Case Manager, Family Service Specialist and Therapist. Beyond my college and licensure trainings. I also have certification through the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education meaning I've completed a number of trainings regarding children from birth to age 6.

I love this work and look forward to hearing from anyone seeking therapy.

Greetings!

I'm Gaby Beaujeu and my areas of therapeutic interest center on adolescents, young adults, and maternal mental health. I have worked as a clinical counselor in Child & Family services at Lincoln County Behavioral Health for the last 2 years, where I also completed my MSW internship. I believe the best investment we can make in our youth is to prioritize and care early and often for the mental health and well-being of their caregiver(s). I am a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), and I incorporate that play, mindfulness, and movement into my therapeutic approach. I have experience in CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed mindfulness practices.

I have extensive experience leading DBT groups, family therapy, and individual counseling with middle and high school clients, often at school-based health clinics to eliminate potential barriers to care and give access to services that may not otherwise be available for our youth during school hours. Representation matters, and I am committed to being a lifelong student in support of social justice and creating safe, inclusive environments for LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals. I am also a strong advocate for adolescents navigating chronic mental health, with some of my most meaningful work being done on an early intervention team for first-break psychosis in young adults experiencing mood disorders and schizophrenia (EASA).

I have eight years of prior experience working with youth and their families including pediatric clinical research focusing on cardiac arrest and traumatic brain injuries, a brief foray into law enforcement, and assisting at a pediatric disordered eating clinic in Portland (Kartini).

I’m a Social Work Associate, working towards my LCSW licensure under the direction of my incredible clinical supervisor. I care deeply that you receive quality, evidence-based practices that are current, reputable, and relevant to your needs. I can’t wait to connect!

Hello, my name is Sarah and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I've been working as a mental health professional with youth and families for over 10 years. I can work with you individually or as a family unit to address a range of life challenges including anxiety, depression, healing from trauma, grief, and other life transitions. I love to incorporate creativity, mindfulness practices and self compassion in therapy.

I hold a masters degree in social work from Portland State University. My professional experience has included working with child and adolescent survivors of sexual abuse and their parents, individual and family therapist, school-based therapist, and school social worker.

My native language is English and my second language is Spanish. I lived two years in Spanish speaking countries, Spain and Ecuador, while studying and working. Although Spanish is not my native language, I have advanced proficiency in the language and have worked with many Spanish speaking families in family therapy and group counseling.

I look forward to meeting you!

Being a person is hard. Managing demands of work or school, relationships, family, life changes, and finances all while trying to take care of your heart, mind, body, and soul can feel impossible. It's even harder when you constantly feel anxious, overstimulated, or down and depressed with little relief. On top of this, we often carry the unhelpful narratives from past experiences with us through our daily life. If you resonate with any of these challenges, you are not alone, and I am hopeful there are options to help you feel better.

My name is Grace and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have worked in the mental health field since 2017, and obtained my Master of Social Work from George Fox University in 2019 where I received a blend of clinical and social justice focused education. Since then, I have been providing mental health therapy for adults with a wide range of mental health challenges. I currently specialize in supporting individuals who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, and life changes, as well as compassion fatigue and burnout related to helping professions.

I provide a safe space for clients to process experiences of both the past and present that impact well-being. I am passionate about biopsychosocial-spiritual health. My approach is strengths-based, culturally-sensitive, intersectional, and trauma-informed. I incorporate a variety of evidence-based tools related to mindfulness, acceptance, and nervous system regulation in my practice. I am also trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is different than talk-therapy and is most well-known for the treatment of PTSD, though it can also be used for a variety of other mental health problems.

I know starting therapy is vulnerable and can be a difficult process. I also acknowledge it usually takes time to build trust! Rest assured that I will meet you with compassion and empathy, no matter what your story is. Please call our office or fill out the form below if you would like to schedule an appointment with me. I look forward to meeting you!

“When you least expect it, Nature has cunning ways of finding our weakest spot…Right now you may not want to feel anything. Perhaps you never wished to feel anything…But feel something you obviously did. …If there is pain, nurse it. And if there is a flame, don’t snuff it out. Don’t be brutal with it. We rip out so much of ourselves to be cured of things faster…But to make yourself feel nothing so as not to feel anything ― what a waste!” - André Aciman

Do you feel disconnected & detached? Are you struggling to find peace & security with yourself or in your relationships? Our minds & bodies are interdependent- so reliant on one another that they often try to protect themselves by splitting apart or shutting down. Pain, loss, & stress are unavoidable & it can be so tempting to numb ourselves to try to minimize their impact. Inevitably, we numb the good along with the bad.

As a Master in Social Work and pre-licensed clinician I’ve worked with clients of all ages and circumstances, but have dedicated much of my personal study over the years to sex and relationship dynamics. In my private practice, I specialized in working with clients who are in relationship transitions. Some may be seeking conscious uncoupling, navigating painful breakups, identifying and understanding patterns in romantic or platonic relationships, shifting from monogamy into polyamory or other partnership structures, or working to better understand their own bodies when it comes to sex, sexuality, and gender experiences alone and with peers or partners.

Whether you have a specific goal in mind, need someone to offer blanket support, or seek to learn and practice new skills, I can incorporate interventions from a variety of modalities, including compassion-focused therapy, narrative therapy, CBT, DBT, art therapy, EFT-tapping, attachment-based therapy, Gestalt, eclectic therapy, somatic therapy, and mindfulness & guided meditation. We all need something different to tap into our unique healing and growth. Vulnerability is uncomfortable at best but so very necessary, & I would be honored to accompany you on a journey to find your way to face these challenges with confidence, strength, grace, & resilience.

I am happy you’re here, & I can’t wait to meet you!

My practice is person-centered, which means it is anti-capitalist and liberationist: for fat bodies, for LGBTQIA+ bodies, for disabled bodies, and for black and brown bodies first and foremost.

My counseling style is strengths-based because I enjoy helping others find and explore their strengths.  I value helping clients feel less alone and isolated. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, identity issues, posttraumatic stress, family or relationship problems, dealing with life’s transitions and challenges, or seeking to improve your overall well-being, I can help you develop the strategies, skills, and insight to do so.

I offer individual, couples, adolescent, couples, and family therapy.  I use a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) approach to help others overcome beliefs that are interfering with reaching goals or attaining personal happiness.  I also teach clients how to calm anxiety and other psychiatric symptoms by practicing mindfulness using MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) and learning to use acceptance as a coping skill.  I also incorporate elements of DBT (emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance) into my practice to help individuals learn to manage emotions and tolerate distress in a healthy way.

I will support you in realizing your true potential with kindness and compassion.  You can create your life the way you want it to be, and I would love to be your companion on this magnificent journey! I am a telehealth therapist in Oregon currently and offering sessions through a secure video portal.  Video sessions are convenient, effective, and empowering!

Education/Experience:  I hold a BS in Psychology from Old Dominion University.  I then received an MS in Special Education from George Mason University, and was a special education teacher for 8 years (worked exclusively with individuals with Asperger’s for 3 years), prior to returning to school to receive a master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2017.  My coursework emphasized community mental health aspects, interdisciplinary collaboration, prevention of dysfunction, and direct service.  This coursework provided broad-based training designed to help individuals who struggle with substance abuse, family violence, divorce, aging, and general emotional problems.  I completed my internship in counseling at the APA-accredited Faulk Center for Counseling in Boca Raton, FL, where I was an outpatient counselor for one year.  I then worked as both a community counselor and school-based counselor, working with children and adolescents, for National Counseling Group in Northern Virginia.  Upon moving to Oregon, I began working at a community mental health agency for one and a half years, working in an outpatient setting, and also providing crisis services as needed.

I help Oregonians like you, whether this is your first experience with therapy or you have worked with a counselor before. I take my cues from you, and together we will build a therapeutic relationship focused on achieving your goals. Whether you are dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, disability and chronic illness, weight stigma, career questions, or other life transitions, I want to help you frame your story, make meaningful progress, and develop clarity.

I use gentle and experiential modalities including brainspotting, mindfulness, and somatic exercises, all designed to heal the relationship between the body and self as we process trauma and difficult life events.

I have a master's degree in counseling from Portland State University. I am a clinical rehabilitation counselor (CRC), which means I am specifically trained to work with disabled and chronically ill clients. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Oregon, which means that I have thousands of hours of experience. I am certified in brainspotting, which means I have extensive, personalized training in that modality.

I have worked with a wide-range of clients—BIPOC and white, adolescents, young, middle-aged, and older adults, people of all gender expressions and faiths, people experiencing complex trauma, and formerly incarcerated individuals. No matter who you are, my approach is compassionate, holistic, and strengths-based. I also want to help you develop mindful coping skills to nurture yourself even after our therapeutic relationship has ended.

My therapy office is one in which you can be free to bring your whole self, where you can explore all of your being in a warm, judgement-free environment. I believe that every person has the capacity to approach life in a whole-hearted and joyful way, and together, we will discover how you may do so for yourself.

I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Boston College in 2015, and received my Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas, Austin, in 2021. In the interim, I worked with teenagers in wilderness therapy, where I learned about the power that nature has to make us fully present to our lives. I have also worked in children’s homes where I built trusting relationships with children in foster care.

My primary orientation is person-centered, meaning that I believe that you hold the key to wholeness within yourself, and that our relationship will be a tool that allows you to access and cultivate that wholeness. I employ Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Positive Psychology, but rather than sticking to a single framework will spontaneously bring to the sessions whatever resonates most with you. Working with children, I utilize play and art therapy to teach self-knowledge and emotional regulation. I look forward to taking this journey with you!
