I am a bilingual professional counseling associate who specializes in working with adolescents, adults, and families. I received my master's in Mental health counseling from Corban University. I also attended Western Oregon University, which is where I received my bachelor's degree while majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Spanish. I have experience working in Marion County Children's Behavioral Health Department and in Private practice.
My approach is strength-based, person-centered. Which allows me to meet my clients where they are by utilizing their strengths to enhance other areas we may need to work on. I integrate various evidence-based therapeutic approaches based on the specific needs of my clients.
Which allows me to establish a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship with each client I work with. It's also important for me to cultivate a therapeutic atmosphere where my clients feel at ease with opening up about their uniquely vulnerable stories, and where they are comfortable being their authentic selves.
