Full Job Description

Our community needs you. Stronger Oregon is hiring for multiple associate therapists/counselors to serve children and adults in our offices throughout the state with services calibrated by your clinical determination. Provide mental health services the right way by having the freedom to see a client another time within the week, if needed, or do family therapy. Productivity pressure is significantly reduced and you have the freedom to breathe, cope and have a personal life.

There are 2 Full-Time Compensation Options for Associate Providers, Licensed providers have the same compensation options with increased rates for Licensure.

  • Option 1: “Commission Position”

    • Full Time Employment at a minimum of 30 hours a week with a commission compensation setup of 50% from every insurance reimbursable service. For example: One of our insurance contracts reimburses $172 for a 60 minute Psychotherapy Session which would equal an approximately $86 commission for you. We ask that the clinician schedule a minimum of 24 direct service hours a week with the expectation that there will be some no-shows to scheduled appointments.

      • Scenario 1: If you render a consistent average of 21 direct service hours each week of the year, you could make approximately $85k before taxes.

      • Scenario 2: If you render a consistent average of 24 direct service hours each week of the year, you could make approximately $95k before taxes.

      • Scenario 3: If you render a consistent average of 28 direct service hours each week of the year, you can make approximately $110k a year before taxes.

      • Scenario 4: If you render a consistent average of 32 direct service hours each week of the year, 40 hour work week, you can make approximately $130k a year before taxes.

      • PTO/Sick Leave/Holiday Pay are paid at the hourly wage of $25.

  • Option 2: “Hourly + Bonus Position”

    • FTE - 30 hours a week - $40 an hour. $50 bonuses can be earned if you exceed 21 billable direct service hours in a week! It is for every one hour of billable services beyond 21 a week and basically makes the compensation $90 ($40+$50) for that hour. Such bonuses could be earned for the 22nd, 23rd and 24th hour of services of a week. We ask that the clinician schedule a minimum of 24 direct service hours a week.

      • Scenario 1: If all 24 clients show up for their hour long appointments consistently across the week/year, you could have a annual wage of $69,600 ($62,400 hourly + $7,200 Bonuses) before taxes.

      • Scenario 2: If your consistent average is 21 or below, then you’ll have the base hourly compensation that adds up to $62,400 a year before taxes.

      • Scenario 3: If you render an average of 28 direct service hours a week, you can make approximately $79,200 a year ($62,400 hourly + $16,800 Bonuses) before taxes.

      • Scenario 4: If you render an average of 32 direct service hours a week, a 40 hour work week, you can make approximately $88,800 a year ($62,400 hourly + $26,400 Bonuses) before taxes.

      • This allows you to not worry about no shows and commissions calculations.

      • In addition to 401k/health/dental/vision benefits, there is 80 hours of PTO, 40 hours of sick leave and 10 paid holidays a year (80 hours) which is all paid at $40 an hour.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Individual/Family Therapy to the level of need.

  • Provide group therapy, clinical consultation, case management and skills training as needed.

  • Provide crisis services such as a risk assessment, suicide assessment and safety plans.

  • Timely complete necessary paperwork to comply with contracts and OHA.

  • This list is not inclusive of all responsibilities and tasks.

Requirements:

  • Associate therapist registered with an Oregon Licensing Board (Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists / Oregon Board of Licensed Clinical Social Workers) as a Clinical Social Worker Associate (CSWA), Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (MFT Associate) or Licensed Professional Clinician Associate (LPC Associate).
