Thank you for looking into our school based therapist position at Stronger Oregon. We are hoping to find providers who would be willing to treat elementary aged children (6 positions) beginning in September and October. We need to hire now though to begin insurance credentialing. Below is the quick bullet point version for you to consider a new way to render outpatient mental health services.

  • Full-time being 30 hours a week which allows for more self-care.

  • Associate Supervision is paid for by Stronger Oregon and is abundant. Start promptly and get to licensure at the fastest pace while also gaining the experience needed.

  • You can make $62,000 (PTE) to $130,000 (FTE), annually before taxes, based on your chosen compensation structure and hours of direct services. You get to choose and calibrate.

  • Optionally work four days a week, having 3 days off in a row. You can also do a 5 day configuration.

  • Free MBSR, TFCBTa, CBT-E and EMDR basic training for being Full-Time.

  • Shared training cost if Part-time.

  • Fully built-out office, with parking, in Medford for hours outside of school system as needed or desired.

Our community needs you. Stronger Oregon is hiring for multiple associate therapists to serve children, adults, couples and families with services calibrated by your clinical determination. Provide mental health services the right way by having the freedom to see a client another time within the week, if needed, or do family therapy. Productivity pressure is significantly reduced and you have the freedom to breathe, cope and have a personal life.

There are 2 Full-Time Compensation Options for Associate Providers (Fully Licensed Providers have the same compensation structures but with "Commission Position" being 60% and the "Hourly Bonus Position" being $50 hourly and $60 bonuses.)

  • Option 1: “Commission Position”

    • Full Time Employment at a minimum of 30 hours a week with a commission compensation setup of 50% from every insurance reimbursable service. For example: One of our insurance contracts reimburses $172 for a 60 minute Psychotherapy Session which would equal an approximately $86 commission for you. We ask that the clinician schedule a minimum of 24 direct service hours a week with the expectation that there will be some no-shows to scheduled appointments.

      • Scenario 1: If you render a consistent average of 21 direct service hours each week of the year, you could make approximately $85k before taxes.

      • Scenario 2: If you render a consistent average of 24 direct service hours each week of the year, you could make approximately $95k before taxes.

      • Scenario 3: If you render a consistent average of 28 direct service hours each week of the year, you can make approximately $110k a year before taxes.

      • Scenario 4: If you render a consistent average of 32 direct service hours each week of the year, 40 hour work week, you can make approximately $130k a year before taxes.

      • In addition to 401k/health/dental/vision benefits, PTO/Sick Leave/Holiday Pay are paid at the hourly wage of $25.

  • Option 2: “Hourly + Bonus Position”

    • FTE - 30 hours a week - $40 an hour. $50 bonuses can be earned if you exceed 21 billable direct service hours in a week! It is for every one hour of billable services beyond 21 a week and basically makes the compensation $90 ($40+$50) for that hour. Such bonuses could be earned for the 22nd, 23rd and 24th hour of services of a week. We ask that the clinician schedule a minimum of 24 direct service hours a week.

      • Scenario 1: If all 24 clients show up for their hour long appointments consistently across the week/year, you could have a annual wage of $69,600 ($62,400 hourly + $7,200 Bonuses) before taxes.

      • Scenario 2: If your consistent average is 21 or below, then you’ll have the base hourly compensation that adds up to $62,400 a year before taxes.

      • Scenario 3: If you render an average of 28 direct service hours a week, you can make approximately $79,200 a year ($62,400 hourly + $16,800 Bonuses) before taxes.

      • Scenario 4: If you render an average of 32 direct service hours a week, a 40 hour work week, you can make approximately $88,800 a year ($62,400 hourly + $26,400 Bonuses) before taxes.

      • This allows you to not worry about no shows and commissions calculations.

      • In addition to 401k/health/dental/vision benefits, there is 80 hours of PTO, 40 hours of sick leave and 10 paid holidays a year (80 hours) which is all paid at $40 an hour.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Individual, Family and/or Couples Therapy in our Medford School District based program. Optionally, some services can be rendered in our Medford office and/or telehealth too.

  • Provide group therapy, clinical consultation, case management and skills training on an as needed basis.

  • Provide crisis services such as a risk assessment, suicide assessment and safety plans as needed.

  • Timely complete necessary paperwork to comply with contracts and OHA.

  • This list is not inclusive of all responsibilities and tasks.

Requirements:

  • Associate therapist registered with an Oregon Licensing Board (Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists / Oregon Board of Licensed Clinical Social Workers) as a Clinical Social Worker Associate (CSWA), Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (MFT Associate) or Professional Counseling Associate (LPC Associate).
