Thank you for looking into our school based therapist position at Stronger Oregon. We are hoping to find providers who would be willing to treat elementary (2 positions) through high school (2 positions) aged children beginning in September and October. We need to hire now though to begin insurance credentialing. Below is the quick bullet point version for you to consider a new way to render outpatient mental health services.

  • Full-time being a minimum of 30 hours a week which allows for more self-care. Part-time can a minimum of 15 hours.

  • You can make $60,000 (PTE) to $180,000 (FTE), annually before taxes, based on your chosen compensation structure and hours of direct services. You get to choose and calibrate.

  • Optionally work four days a week, having 3 days off in a row. You can also do a 5 day configuration. Choose the day you would like off, like Mondays…

  • Free MBSR, TFCBTa, CBT-E and EMDR basic training for being Full-Time.

  • Shared training cost if Part-time.

  • Fully built-out office, with parking, in Roseburg for hours outside of school system.

  • Awesome benefits for Full-Time Providers with no monthly premiums for Health/Dental/Vision for the employee.

Our community needs you. Stronger Oregon is hiring for multiple licensed therapists to serve children, adults, couples and families with services calibrated by your clinical determination. Provide mental health services the right way by having the freedom to see a client another time within the week, if needed, or do family therapy. Productivity pressure is significantly reduced and you have the freedom to breathe, cope and have a personal life.

There are 3 options for an LPC, MFT or LCSW therapist (ask about part-time):

  • Option 1: “Commissioned Position”

    • Full Time Employment at a minimum of 30 hours a week with a commission compensation setup of 60% from every insurance reimbursable service (For example: One of our insurance contracts reimburses $207 for a 60 minute Psychotherapy Session which would equal a $124.20 commission for you). We ask that the clinician schedule a minimum of 24 direct service hours a week with the expectation that their will be some no-shows to scheduled appointments. If you render a consistent average of 21 direct service hours each week of the year, you could make approximately $100k before taxes. If you render a consistent average of 28 direct service hours each week of the year, you can make approximately $145k a year before taxes. If you render a consistent average of 32 direct service hours each week of the year, 40 hour work week, you can make approximately $175k a year before taxes. All of these are conservative estimations. The ratios of insurance of your clients has an effect as they do pay different rates and are consistently increasing!

  • Option 2: “Hourly/Bonus Position”

    • FTE - 30 hours a week at $50 an hour. $60 bonuses can be earned if you exceed 21 billable direct service hours in a week. It is for every one hour of billable services beyond 21 a week and basically makes the compensation $110 ($50+$60) for that hour. Such bonuses could be earned for the 22nd, 23rd and 24th hour of services of a week. We ask that the clinician schedule a minimum of 24 direct service hours a week. If all 24 clients show up for their hour long appointments, you could have a annual wage of $86,640 ($78,000 hourly + $8,640 Bonuses) before taxes. If only your consistent average is 21 or below, then you’ll have the base hourly compensation that adds up to $78,000 a year. You can exceed these minimums and render an average of 28 direct service hours a week and make approximately $100k a year! This allows you to not worry about no shows, commissions calculations and has been the most chosen option of our new hires. In addition to health/dental/vision benefits, there is 80 hours of PTO, 40 hours of sick leave and 10 paid holidays a year (80 hours) which is all paid at $50 an hour.

  • Option 3: Independent contractor

    • Make a 70% commission on every billable service! For example: One of our insurance contracts reimburses $207 for a 60 minute Psychotherapy Session which would equal a $144.90 commission for you. There are a variety of other insurance rates as well. You can work as little as 10 direct service hours a week with an estimated income of 60k for the year before taxes. If you render an average of 32 direct service hours each week of the year you can make an estimated $180,000 a year before taxes. These are conservative estimations! You calibrate your ideal job.

You are welcome to work 40 hours a week, as is typical of most jobs, but we believe giving you more time for your personal life allows you to be the best version of your professional self. We believe it directly correlates to better services for clients and better self-care for you. The positive is, you choose. You can put in more work and make more money if you so choose. Lets talk about what is the best work/life balance for you.
