My name is Autumn Stoutenburgh and I am fully licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

I have a friendly, relaxed, and intuitive but intentional approach that I bring into our space that we will create together through telehealth. Relationship is important in the therapeutic process and I put great care into establishing a safe and secure foundation for us to work from. For my younger clients, there is significant attention to the relationship between them and their primary caregiver(s), as that will be the most important relationship to strengthen in our time together.

I draw from various modalities and tend to utilize parts of each of them during sessions, with a more intuitive and relaxed approach, while still being purposeful. These modalities include: Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Play Therapy, Theraplay, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as attachment and trauma informed treatment.

I grew up in Eugene, Oregon and graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon. While at the U of O, I discovered the way I wanted to direct my passion to support children and their families in order to provide them with a better trajectory in life - by being a therapist. In order to get the best education in this field, my young family and I moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I earned my Master’s in Social Work through the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work. I also attended a Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica, from which I became a Certified Yoga Instructor. We have returned home to Oregon to grow our roots.

I work primarily with children and adolescents under the age of 13, their parents, and families. I have great interest in working with Early Childhood and Infant Mental Health, both of which strongly focus on the relationship between child and caregiver. I am also accepting women in transitional periods of their lives, those experiencing infertility, and parents in the perinatal period.

I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work in 2016 and have 2.5+ years of experience in mental health counseling, social work, case management, behavioral health consulting in a health care setting, forensic interviewing, childhood trauma, childhood abuse and neglect, and early childhood parenting.

Therapy is a process in which growth can and will look different for everyone. I will meet you wherever you are in that process and we will start there. You are not alone. You are of value. You are important. You are worthy.
