My philosophy and approach for individual therapy and family therapy is based in multiple theories. I have utilized strategies that focus on a strong emphasis of building resilience and developing positive coping skills through cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems.
I employ an approach that in order to understand the presenting issues for services there is a need to understand the whole system.
I also practice and am an informed clinician in PMTO (Parent Management Training of Oregon) and IFS (Internal Family Systems).
