I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Oregon. I received my master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark Graduate School. My studies included child, adolescent and family therapy, human development, expressive arts therapy, multicultural and feminist psychology and mindfulness practices. I have experience working in a variety of settings such as schools, outpatient, partial hospitalization and residential programs.
I have worked with clients across the lifespan and have a wealth of experience working with children of various age groups and their families. I have some training in family systems, expressive arts and play therapies, DBT, CBT and motivational interviewing strategies. I incorporate a wide range brief interventions into my practice to best meet the need of each, individual client maintaining a person-centered approach. I truly believe that people want to do well and live happy, healthy lives. As a therapist, it is my goal to help guide you towards increased self-awareness and understanding so that you can reach the goals you set for yourself. I am committed to continuing education to offer the most relevant, evidenced based and trauma informed interventions.
