Each experience of the human journey is unique and individual. Life is rich in context and experience, with moments of intense pain and immeasurable joy. At times of pain, the stories we tell ourselves can get us stuck in narratives that no longer enhance our lives. I offer a safe, collaborative space to support individuals in rewriting these stories to inspire authenticity and a return to wholeness.

My name is Mary (she/her), and my background includes working with clients in various settings, from outdoor wilderness therapy to outpatient hospital settings. I have worked with different ages across the spectrum of life and am humbled by the opportunity to bear witness to individuals' personal lives.

I received my Master of Social Work degree from Boise State University and was able to practice in various non-profits and hospitals in the local Portland area. Modalities that I utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and various mindfulness and somatic practices all implemented through a trauma-informed lens.

I affirm and support all gender identities and strive to honor all ethnic backgrounds with respect and allyship, and work to do my part to dismantle inequitable systems of power and oppression.

I look forward to working with you and creating a safe, compassionate space wherein we can build a respectful therapeutic relationship that assists in the process of growth and return to the authentic self.

"The first thing we do on a dark night is look up."
