Stronger Oregon: Growing with the Salem Community Since 2020
Stronger Oregon has been a proud part of the Salem, Oregon community since 2020—a year that brought unprecedented challenges and deepened the need for compassionate, accessible mental health support. Born out of a desire to serve the underserved, our journey began with a simple mission: to provide essential mental health services to elementary schools that had previously gone without.
Our roots are in the Four Corners area of Salem, where we first partnered with schools that had little to no mental health coverage. In those early days, we saw firsthand how children were navigating complex emotional landscapes without the resources they needed. The pandemic only magnified those needs. As COVID-19 swept through our community, it left a trail of uncertainty, isolation, and trauma in its wake. Stronger Oregon leaned in. We stayed connected, adapted quickly, and ensured that students and families had a steady, supportive presence—even when everything else felt uncertain.
From those early beginnings, we’ve grown with the community. What started with a handful of elementary schools has since expanded to cover the majority of schools in the Salem area. We’ve been honored to build lasting partnerships with educators, families, and school districts, becoming a trusted ally in supporting student well-being.
Through it all, our commitment has never wavered. We are here not just for the schools, but for the broader community. Whether it's providing therapy, trauma-informed care, or family support, Stronger Oregon continues to walk alongside those who need it most.
We remain deeply connected to our roots in Salem, and we carry that local pride with us as we expand. Our mission is still the same: to meet people where they are, offer strength in times of need, and help build a healthier, more resilient Oregon—one relationship at a time.
