My name is Mollie and I am a licensed clinical social worker, therapist and clinical supervisor. After receiving my Masters of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014, I had the privilege of working in the area of international community development in Lesotho in Southern Africa. Since returning home in 2016, I have served in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings as both an individual therapist and team lead. I also serve as a board member for the Therapist Development Center’s continuing education oversight committee.

What brings me the most joy in my therapy practice, is joining with my individual clients to illuminate their inner wisdom and strengths to allow for more fulfillment and ease in their lives. My goal for every session is to ensure a safe and fun environment where clients feel respected and supported to be themselves. While I am trained in various evidenced based interventions, the magic is in the collaboration and creating an individualized plan that will work for you.

My work is mainly with individuals, adults, ages 21+, special focus on Military, Veterans and their family members, with a holistic, trauma-sensitive and strengths-based approach. My training includes, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), mindfulness-meditation, problem-solving therapy, clinical hypnosis, guided imagery, Gestalt Therapy, EFT (emotional freedom technique), and yoga.

I’m a queer trans Southern California kid who found home in the Sonoran Desert and in the wildness of the Pacific Northwest.

I’m a would-be animator who became a horseback riding instructor, who then received their Master of Social Work. I’ve been an LGBTQ youth crisis counselor and a Drug Court Child & Family Therapist, followed by a decade of nonprofit program management and leadership in HIV prevention & care.

My personal, educational, and professional experiences all inform my approach to therapy. Each session is a dedicated time & space uniquely designed for you. We’ll take time to build a foundation, using sessions to explore and identify key issues that you want to address. We’ll work in the context of your own life and find creative ways for you to heal and move toward change that honor your true self.

I work with youth (13+), young adults and adults who are looking for growth or change in their life. Issues that I specialize in: LGBTQ identity, self-acceptance, coming out; Perfectionism and shame; Depression; Navigating complex or difficult relationships; Workplace issues; Significant life changes; Grief and loss; Burnout and compassion fatigue—especially in public health, social work, and veterinary care
